DuPage Family Disability Network (DFDN)
Wednesday, September 10, 2014 Open Meeting
Lisle Library
Lisle, IL 60532
6:45pm to 8:45pm

This is DFDN’s inaugural meeting for this
year. We hope you can all make it to learn how to better access your
community.

How do we get around town if we don’t drive, if
because of our disability we cannot drive and/or cannot manage fixed bus
routs again because of our disability?
Work, volunteer, play all part of everyone’s life depend on access to transportation.

DFDN is pleased to present information ON:

Para transit, Ride DuPage
These can be the answer for many who cannot drive.
There are para transit opportunities available to
people with disabilities in DuPage county.

This resource is particularly important if you have a
student in a public school transition program who is not going to drive.
This presentation should offer the information needed to apply for para
transit service and learn how to advocate for transportation.

Our presenter Mary Keating, Director dupage county community services
Mary has had a major part in sculpting Ride DuPage
and an active advocate for para transit in DuPage county for more than a
decade.

She will be presenting the various options at the
September 10, 2014 DFDN meeting.
